Hitchens and the gang are coming out of a 2000 year old Christian tradition...those American military forces in hundreds of bases around the world and bombing and killing innocent civilians are Christian men and women..they certainly aren't atheists...and even if they were, it is Christianity and things like Christian jihads and yes even Christian suicide bombers like those who bombed Tokyo, and decades of "God on our side" that got us here.

Harris doesn't refer to the soldiers who kick down doors and ravage families cowering in the dark as Christians...but they are and they are part of a Christian historical tradition that got us here.

Where there is a crime committed by a Muslim Harris calls it "Islamic"...and tells us we have to fear Islam...but when Christians commit their crimes, he never mentions their religion, same way FOX news behaves....he'll say it's because Christian dogma didn't prompt that crime.....excuse me? Bush said god told him to attack Iraq...hello?

I don't see how any sane and impartial person could look at the world today and say that Islam is the religion to fear...that it is Christianity which is under attack...remember that's what Nazi's said: that Jews were out to destroy Christian civilization...oops!

It is Christian nations which have been the imperialists, using people and stealing their resources and occupying them...Saddam's attack against Kuwait pales beside the colonial background of Christian nations.

Just because Christians refuse to identify themselves as such doesn't mean the rest of us don't know they ARE Christian...whether devout or pretending to be or, like Dawkins et al, finally, FINALLY, repudiating their religion but only after centuries of violence done in the name of their Christ....it's like police officers removing their badge or identifying insignias...ok, you don;t know EXACTLY who that cop with the taser is, but you KNOW he's a cop!

Hitchens and the rest have removed their Christian ID tags...fine, but they BELONG to, and are defending, the Christian gang!
