I been visiting many different Assyrian websites lately just trying to see what is going on. The thing that I noticed each and everytime almost on all the sites except this one is nothing but anti Islam. I am in no way trying to attack Christians, but I am curious about Assyrians. Are those Assyrians serving Ashur, or serving Christianity and it's agendas? I see more effort and enegry being spent on attacking Islam and trying to prove it wrong, rather than focusing on the so called plan of having a piece of land called Assyria. Is it about Assyrianism, or is Christianity the real deal here, and Assyrian just being used as a cover up. The thing I noticed on all the sites and atricles is the same thing over and over. "MOSLEMS kill Christian man in Iraq" over and over something in that fashion. Let's admit this is pathetic. I am not denying that there some ignorant Muslims out there who may do something un Islamic, but can we use that person and attack Islam because of it? if we were to play that game, where would Christianity be or any religion? If one wants to fair and is willing to go the route, we can research the real Islamic history of its empire and everything, and the case will be settled. Islam is tolerant and Muslims proved tolerant troward others for the most part as well. The Islamic golden empire lasted over 1,000 years, yet nothing bad happened to the non Muslims who lived in the middle of the empire. In fact While Muslims were fair and tolerant, instead most Christians of the middle east became more racist. An example are the coptic Christians of Egypt. There over 14 million of them they were surived for 1,400 years under Islam with no problem, yet only became more racist and took advantage of the kindness of Islam. I am not trying to promote my belief or way, but just stating what Iknow and what I can see. Most Assyrians are very hateful toward others mostly Islam. I always hear the same old song that Christianity is peace and loving, yet most of its members are the opposite. I hear some ridicilous statements like "Jesus said by the their fruits u shall know them" if that is so let's do that test and we'll know there is something wrong with the tree of Christianity. While Islam proved tolerant and Just, and most Muslims have also been tolerant except for ignorant individuals, Christianity has proven quite the opposite, if were to reaserch its dark bloody history. But we don't go that route because we don't attack a religion because of it's members. I hear that Christianity is peace, yet I see most of it's members proving the opposite. If the it is so peaceful " and God loves everybody even homo sexuells" why is Christianity not bringing peace to it's own members. Example Assyrians. Most are filled with hate, prejudices, arrogance, yet proudly claim to be Christians. Is there not something wrong with that? I was Christian almost all of my life, and I even got involved with the "born again cults" (evengelic christians) yet they proved the opposite. They speak of peace and love, yet prove quite the opposite. They smile in ur face with the angel like dress code yet are like vampires. I am not trying to attack Christianity, but being fair. If one is going to attack a religion and try to refute a belief by the actions of it's members, it be anfair for Christianity. All them priests, pastors, ministers and people in general that been caught in all kinds sex scandals, money scandals, etc. We could use that to disregard Christianity without going any further. So to be fair, we should not go that route. As far as Assyrianism goes, it seems more like a Christian thing aimed at attacking Islam and Muslims. I was filled with hate and prejudices toward Muslims as well thanks to my shamashas and people who were so Christian. I would go attack Muslims all day long insulting their religion, just hoping get them to insult my beloved Jesus Christ, instead I looked like a fool. It wasn't until I disacovered Islam for myself and embraced it that I received true peace. I no longer hate others, all my actions were removed from heart by Islam. I am not trying to promote by belief, but only trying to get the story straight. If one wants to be a Christian, that is that persons choice, but if it's suppose to bring peace, then it should do that. Furthermore, iF Assyria is the real deal here, why is Christianity being served and the agendas of the churches instead? it is time to admit that this kind of mentality where others get attacked because they disagree is absurd. Hatred, racism, bigotry, will not get one nowhere. Most Assyrians have not proven tolerant to others. They constantly attack Islam by using isolated insidents like a bomb goes of in baghdad and an Assyrian happened to die in the blast, we hear "MOSLEMS kill Christian man" I mean what about the thousands of "MOSLEMS" that die? nobody cares. It's ridicilous to even use such tactic. So my advice to those Assyrians is if Assyria is the real objective, then that is the wrong way of doing it. If anti Islam is the real objective, then this will not get you nowhere. If Christianity is supposed to bring peace, and is ur religion, good for you, but attacking others and being hateful toward others is not very Godly. I don't see how that can be peaceful. One can easily see the nasty actions during an interfaith dialogue between Muslims and Christians, if one watched the whole thing open mindedly, one can notice the nasty arrogant, insulting, un Godly behavior of the Christians. It's unbelievable. How can a religion that is suppose to bring peace to someone, inspire i's members to be so hateful toward others. I seen it with my own eyes. I know my own relatives and I see it all over. It's ridicilous. It is best to change this kind of behavior if one wants to get anywhere. Otherwise we'll continue to be walked avover by westerners and by the Christians. Let's change course and really act Assyrian. No insults or attacks intended, if anyone is insulted by my words, I appologize in adnvance. I am just giving an advice on something I see and something notice from the outside. Please, I hope no one takes my words out of context, I am just trying to help solve a problem. That is how we can solve problems by communiating and being fair minded. We can't allow prejudices, hate, and bigotry get in the way. Peace --------------------- |
