...Hitchens gets especially hot and self-righteous whenever there is talk about insulting Islam, as in Rushdie's case..."screw Islam" he says...we believe in freedom of speech and of the press...who are those fanatics to tell us that we must NOT offend their religion or else they'll send someone round to kill us..."

...Capitalism is America's religion...Jesus is its prime salesman...ask Hitchens how many informal, but deadly, Fatwahs the CIA has put out on people who have dared challenge, or if you prefer, "insult" our religion of free exploitation? As always, on closer and REAL scrutiny it turns out this super-sized Jesus nation of ours has been murdering people all over the world who dared insult us and our religious/capitalist beliefs....so lay of Islam for its ONE Fatwah against ONE person! Or else condemn them all.
