...that god exists or doesn't. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't...doesn't really matter. What we're really talking about is; does believing in his religions do us any good..or, more harm than good?

It is BELIEVING in him and his religions and priests that is the real issue...whether he really exists or not is a distraction. Whether he exists or not, his religions DO EXIST! They are a FACT, not a matter of "faith"...they are here, they are real, they are tangible, and we have to deal with them. It matters not at all that he exists behind them..it only matters to god-people who think to quiet our revulsion and disgust by telling us that we don't understand HIM and his mysterious ways, "so shut up and HAVE FAITH"!
