...it isn't the rituals or even the beliefs...it's the very core of it, which is: Jesus HAD to be executed or there would be no "heaven" for people. Let Jesus be as true as you like, as certain as good as wise and all the rest of it, BUT, if he had been allowed to grow old and die a natural death, even if he was snatched up to heaven after all, no one could get into Christian heaven because to get there you have to be purified by the murder of Jesus...nothing else will do. You may be the best person the world ever saw...but, if Jesus doesn't killed, and you don't ACCEPT it and aren't GLAD about and admit he was killed for you...you can NOT get into heaven.

That means that any Christian who buys this crap and wants to get into heaven would have been glad to nail Jesus to the cross...if no one else was found willing to do it. I sure as heel wouldn't have done it...but ever decent Christian would have...

You can't get much more fucked-up than that.
