...it always starts slowly...it always happens to those whom most people WISH dead...to those we care the least for....we change the laws, we bend the laws to go after those who DESERVE to have laws suspended for them...the really bad people...not us, it will never be used against us because we are GOOD, we are the ones AGREEING with the government...we are on their side after all.

...Hitler didn't ruin Germany and parcel out his country and get German women raped and starved to death at the first....no, he started on Jews and Gypsies and Gay people....and once the laws were relaxed it became easier and easier to target everyone else and he would HAVE to target everyone else because inevitable some would rebel and rise against him and they wouldn't be Jews or Gypsies or Gay people but ex-officers and loyalists, the inner circle would turn on him and he would have to be ready with laws which would allow him to go much farther, far enough to do away with all legal protections and not just those Jews could hide behind.

That's what we're doing...sure, Obama is a "nice guy", so we don't mind giving him laws which allow him to assassinate American citizens...to go into any country, even where there is no war, and kill whomever he tells us needed killing...and here's where the murder of JFK, Martin Luther King, the Gulf of Tonkin, WMDs and now 9/11 do their part...here's how they help bring us to this day, and on into a murky future, because we didn't mind any one of them enough...didn't pay enough attention...didn't remember that "principle" is also a very practical thing....maybe Obama can be trusted, though I don't trust him for one second...but what about President Bachmann? What about some other nut who comes into office with a mandate to assassinate anyone he wants to....are we so sure the government will truth THEN? Well, if you blindly believe it always tells the truth, then you're not worried....but it will come back to haunt your grandchildren, if not sooner.
