It is really out of my hands. As I stated in my post, this website is not hosted in someone's garage in Abu Dhabi.

...but it could be...then you could be truly free...as you imply you want to be...don't tell me that any SERVER asks you delete a poem with no cuss words in it...that is pure you.

Most of you know I have fought for freedom of speech all of my life, even for people whom I may not like or agree with, but if some don't understand what freedom of speech means to others, only themselves, then they don't understand the meaning of democracy, unfortunately. They only understand bullying, degrading, demeaning, and threatening others into submission to protect themselves and their views, but not of others. They only understand that it is their way or the highway, failing to realize this view has nothing to do with democracy.

..you were never shown the highway at our place...you took a hike yourself because you DON'T like or repect freedom of speech...not when you can't shut it down or bully it to silence.

Of course you are right. They are out to destroy us, because otherwise why would want to terroize.

They have their own site and could easily threaten, bully and demean people all they want, especially when they have "800 unique readers per day" for their theater, but still choose to destroy people's spirit of inquiry, of discussion, of reaching some sort of concensus based on understanding one another's point of view and the needs of humanity in general, and the important issues that face all of us.

...Like I said, you have the right the words...your actions don't match.

What I love about democracy is that everyone has the opportunity to show who they are, and let the participants judge for themselves. You cannot pound knowledge into someone's brain, but it is through discussion and debate that we all learn from one another.

None of us know EVERYTHING, which is why we come to a forum to learn something new which we might not have thought of, to extract some piece of new knowledge we might not have had, to learn how others think, and realize there are all sorts of people in this world that we must accept and tolerate, if we are going to learn to live with one another.

Now you know why there are so many wars in the world. A handful of people will abuse their power and privilege and try to control others by bullying them, degrading them, attacking them for what they believe, instead of being tolerant and letting them come to their own conclusion of how civilized societies truly conduct themselves, and what is the right thing to do for everyone so that we all benefit.

...yeah yeah yeah...BetBassoo has great sounding "rules" at his site too. Your actions are enough...there was noting bullying or vile in the poem you deleted. You have called plenty of people at other sites names...you broke all your own ruules..but you did it at other people's homes...now you want them all to play by the rules you wouldn't abide with...because now it;s YOUR carpet being shat upon.

What they don't understand is that bullying and threatening people only goes so far before it destroys THEM.

I know many have fled from this forum because of a few selfish, arrogant, egotistically bullies who think they can shape people by beating them into submission. You and I know that in real life, it doesn't work like that. In a free world, people have choices, and NO ONE has the patience to take the kind of abuse some braggarts and bullies seem to have a need to dish out.

It is truly unfortunate that in this day and age, there are still people who think they can put the living fear into people with their threats. It is tragic to say the least, because they don't realize how irrelevant they become!!!

...then why are you threatening to ban and delete people? If they are irrelevant...why not ignore a poem? What you don't like is getting caught in your foolishness.
