...will grudgingly admit that that there might be room for assyrians who are Muslims....might be. But the nationalist can never accept such a notion, which handily proves that this is just Christian bullshit...a way to demand a Christian enclave as a "nation" when they know damn well they canīt do it as a Christian sect.....the reason they canīt accept Muslim assyrians is because that would do away with the argument for a separate nation...why would they need such a thing if Muslim Iraqis could also be descended from Assyrians?

In order to make their claim at all valid they HAVE to insist that only Christians can be assyrians because otherwise there would be no justification for a SEPARATE "assyria, ALL of Iraq would be "assyria".....

...the reason for their other ridiculous and also unsubstantiated claim; that Muslims have ALWAYS massacred and murdered and persecuted them, even though not one them can give ONE instance of this, is that without this claim as well there is no pressing need to get them their own country where they can be "safe from murderous Islam".

It turns out that NEITHRER of their claims, the two pillars on which the nationalists rest their cause, are true.....they are NPOT assyrians, certainly not the ONLY assyrians "allowed"...and their claims of persecution and "imminent danger" are NOT true...not backed up by real history at all.

...the "reasonable" assyrian is the one who still want to BE assyrian, but doesnīt insist on having his own assyria...he can afford to "allow" Muslims in...but thenationalist canīt....same as the Zionist who has to drive non-Jews out of Israel.
