we´ve been here before...the Us government startes a war with lies and bluster...pundits talk up our obligations to set people free, make the world safe for democracy,the usual nonsense...soon we´re wailing about how much money we "pour into other countries we want to bring blessings to"...and this goes on until the American people begin to grumble, till our borrowing money gets to be too much, and then "questions" get asked like "is this wise"...."can it work"...."are we the police of the world"...and soon even those politicians who were for these wars begin to "re-evaluate" and say wise things like "we can´t fix all problems" and "wé can´t go on pouring our wealth into other countries"...and more of the same, indicating that wiser heads are now ruling and we should get out.

But, what is really going on is that the scam is about dried up...all the money that ca be squeezed has been squeezed and none of it was "poured into" any other country or persons but OUR country in the form of corporate gifts taken from our Treasury and given, not to "those countries" but to OUR warmongers right here at home, into THEIR bank accounts plus the percentage they gave to the "forces of democracy" in whatever country we were supposedly liberating, usually one or two strongmen who we bought cheap at the beginning.

No money is given to anyone BUT Americans..we do NOT "pour money" over there...that´s bullshit.

These wars for profit can´t be sustained forever, or even for very long...sooner or later we run out of funding sources...sooner or later the gravey train has to end, if not people might get too pissed off...the profiteering has to stop if for no other reason than that they can start it up all over again after a decade or so, when people will have forgotten and after the groundwork for the next binge has been set by corporate media tied to the same warmongers....we didn´t win or lose in Vietnam, we came to the end of the gravey train...as we are about to do in Iraq and Afghanistan.
