...we're supposed to hate Muslims for these kinds of things...even though the two men responsible for this crime were later killed for it.

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A shot rings out, but the burqa-clad woman sitting on the rocky ground does not respond.

The man pointing a rifle at her from a few feet away lets loose another round, but still there is no reaction.

He fires a third shot, and finally the woman slumps backwards.

But the man fires another shot.

And another. And another.

Nine shots in all.

Around him, dozens of men on a hillside cheer: "God is great!"


...that's in Afghanistan...a country racked by decades of foreign-imposed violence and a dismantling of their society....now consider the audience members at a Republican presidential debate who booed an American soldier serving in Iraq for being Gay.....or those who cheered when the candidates agreed that we should allow the sick to die rather than give them free medical attention and care...and this in a "civilized country", the wealthiest nation on earth...how many thousands of Americans die each year from medical neglect? How many children live on the street and under bridges and in cars?

...who is the uncivilized one? You can cheer "God is Great", or "Praise Jesus", when committing your crimes...what's the difference?
