...are frantically busy trying to "think" up more tricks to play on us to get us to believe that what suits a billionaire will also work for us....many of their old tried and true scams aren't effective any longer...they can no longer use fear of Gays as a way to get fools to vote against Gays, while also screwing themselves out of real programs that could ACTUALLY benefit them...in other words; now that we see that Gays not allowed to marry does not put food on our table..and, if they get married, cause us no harm at all...the Gay issue, as an ISSUE is gone...same with Jesus...or the war against Christmas...these all worked for a time but no longer...the Repubs are trying desperately to make an issue out of contraception, of all things, but that isn't alarming anyone,.....no one is going to vote for the man who is dedicated to stomping out birth control, while actually going to Congress to screw up the works...it just doesn't sell.


They've still got Terrorism...maybe they think being "strong" on terrorism will get people out to vote and while there, vote AGAINST their own self-interest by putting into office a bunch of wolves in sheep's clothing.

I just realized that the Dems are the ones responsible for the Tea Party...the thing has been a nightmare for the Repubs, costing them elections left and right, but the Dems left them no choice...the Dems have been steadily taking OVER Republican politics and values....it was the only way they could appeal to voters in this climate of fear...they had to be TOUGHER than Repubs on police issues, spying, drones, liberties, civil rights, food stamps and especially taxes....only by moving to the Right were Dems able to force the Repubs further and further to their right and then to the fringe and even the edge of sanity...and Repubs know what's been going on but what can they do? They can't very well switch places and become Dems themselves...it was clever politics but it's been screwing the people...so, what else is new?
