...he's mixed two separate issues. He first appeared when we were discussing the lack of evidence for assyrian lies about Muslims and Islam. Sometime later we brought up another lie; that assyrians even exist. We asked for factual and credible evidence for either but, they are separate issues. For the Christian/Muslim lies toto provided a grandmother, a teacher in Thrace, some "books" printed, not published, the JAAS and other amateurs and their un-historical writings. After waiting a reasonable time for actual sources, we accepted his grandmothers and the rest but asked that he bring at least ONE actual accredited historian in THIS field....still nothing, until today when he said he HAD posted such a legitimate source, but it turns out that it's a book about assyrians and has nothing to do with Muslim or Christian violence, throughout history. Toto has still failed to bring us even one actual accredited source, one of the standing of a Durant or Toynbee....I mean there hundreds out there, but none that support Toto. As to the existence of modern assyrians, this new book he mentions is written by an assistant professor, in what field he didn't mention...could be German...or engineering....him plus "several other assyrians", of whom we also know nothing. BUT, since ana ctual publisher is publishing this book, we are supposed to accept it over Joseph's works, which ARE by an actual accredited historian in THIS field, who retired, Emeritus, as a full professor, also honored by his college and students by having a new campus building named for him...so, this assistant hardly meets the requirements...he is not an academic as Joseph is....he's more likely your usual propagandist, but with a degree, who submitted a manuscript for publication...which will go nowhere. We're still waiting for actual historians, of equal standing, in THIS field...for both issues.....give us one, just ONE. And try to find out what that assyrian assistant professor got his degree in, Kay? --------------------- |
