...this is how Taco and Ishaya and Aprim and the rest operate. They SAY they are Assyrian... They SAY they write books.... They SAY they are experts... They SAY they speak Assyrian... They SAY you can't be Muslim and be Assyrian... They SAY they are fighting for a nation... They SAY they have "forums"... They SAY they believe in democracy (even while they ban and delete and kill their own Marshimun). It's all words with them...whatever they SAY has to be accepted as fact, as truth...if you question you are a TRAITOR or you HATE. How childish can you get? ....how easy for us too to SAY whatever we want...sure, we make comments and observations, but not on OTHER comments and observations...we comment on what experts in THIS field have said...what historians and politicians have said...in what the silly bible says....we don;t use each others posts as "evidence"....we don;t quote each OTHER....especially not when topics are backed by evidence and facts which can be obtained and posted. We all have opinions...I'm loaded with opinions...even opinions on the opinions of other people...but the best I can do is present evidence and facts...from experts in THIS field....taco presented his Saggs quote...Saggs has others in which he admits that there are no modern assyrians....in fact, given Odishoo's performance, I can't even be sure Taco quoted Saggs correctly....we have posted the titles and editions, publishers and PAGE numbers so people can check for themselves...Taco won;t even do that..he just places quotation marks around a sentence and SAYS that this is from Saggs...I responded immediately to his Saggs...I was GLAD to, and offered up six other experts, on the opposing side, from whom Taco has been running ever since...how can you trust these people when they won;t behave in trustworthy ways? ...everything they say, they just SAY. They never think evidence or even common sense is necessary...and they are indignant when people don't accept what they SAY! Joseph doesn't just SAY these people aren't assyrians...he SHOWS that they are not...he brings in respected historians and people who were there when these errors first saw light...he brings the quotes of missionaries who WATCHED as the term "Assyrian" began to be SAID, in place of Nestorian or Chaldean...he doesn't just SAY it...he PROVES it...and no one, not Ishaya, not Aprim, not Donabed not Parpola have any evidence with which to contradict the EVIDENCE Joseph presents. Taco will NEVER read Joseph...like all the rest he'll lie and SAY he has...but that he "refuses to discuss that book"....like it's the moral high ground to remain willfully ignorant just because you don;t LIKE the evidence because it proves you wrong. Human weakness is understandable, it's forgivable too...it's also a shame. --------------------- |
