I checked to wikipage from which you quoted so I could see their reference and I was not surprised of what I saw. I read much of it before scrolling down and I knew it had to be written by amateurs and bigots. The sources I saw were: joel elias, aina, atour.com, nineveh.com, christians of iraq, parpola, etc. No wonder help is needed by wiki to verify this. Anyone with a wiki account can put something on there, and that's why verification or help is requested. None of the above mentioned are reliable sources nor qualified in this field. Parpola is a professional when it comes to ancient Assyria but he is an amateur when it comes to nestorians. I had enough of it when I made it to where it said "assyrians have been persecuted as result of their religion and ethnicity." That was enough for me as I know where these things come from. There was also badr khan and it said "unprovoked" and of course there was the "genocide" claims. --------------------- |
