You ask any member of Christendom what a "Christian" is and he/she will tell you it means to be a follower of Christ or "Christ like." We are told how loving, caring and pious Jesus was and how he healed the sick, blind, and even gave life to the dead. All these things indicate a caring person and if someone like was around today, he would get some kind of award. George Bush is a Christian, and I can't help but wonder is he a follower of Christ or is Jesus his follower. Does the arrogant American, with his super patriotism, arrogance and selfishness, follow a Jew from the east or is it the other way around. How can an American, who is a Christian as most of them are, be so anti-humanity and lack mercy. He will allow his tax dollars to fund wars, build missiles and kill people, but don't you dare tell him that you know someone on welfare because he will shout "god dammit, there goes some fagot taking my taxes." This will piss the Christian who is at church on Sundays off, but helping people in need is a sin. I look back at my stay in Iraq and remember how you would walk into a restaurant and get up after you ate and head for the exit, the owner would not even look at you. He would come and clean the table and not even ask for money. People paid and others didn't. Some paid later and others didn't. Nobody cared or complained nor call the police.

This is a society of "evil" Muslims who share no mercy and lack love, yet these people knew all about humanity. The American calls the cops on a homeless person that asks to use the phone while everyone in my uncle's neighborhood in Baghdad used the phone in the house of their Muslim neighbors. The Armenian family down the street used it, we used, the Chaldeans further down used and just about everyone on that corner. I tell people in America about that, and they wonder how that owner makes his money, or who pays the phone bill. They lack understanding and can't comprehend that this is how society was and the restaurant wasn't just there for profit. Sure, they made money, but this wasn't the only thing that drove them. I or the next person may not pay, but suddenly someone comes and needs them to prepare a bunch of food for a wedding or for Ramadan or Christmas or whatever else, and there he just made enough to be well off for some time. These are caring societies where the doors are always open to others and where people share meals and help one another out.

I have Christian Americans ask me if there are homeless people in Germany, and I tell them that I am not even gonna answer that, but I will go further east and say there are none in Iraq and other countries in that region. They are shocked to hear me say this and they can't understand a society where you can drive without having to pay for your tags every year or insurance or tax. They can't understand how you can get electricity even when you don't have money. What it really comes down to is that people who are not Christian are culturally and naturally more Christ-like than those who claim to be his followers. The Christian in America will throw you on the streets, fire you from work and cut off your electricity at 6 PM without thinking twice about it while an Iraqi, Cuban, etc, would shake his head. My Iraqi friends and those newcomer refugees stand in the street with disbelief as they see white people or black people sleeping on stairs, under bridges and with long beards and newspapers as their blankets. It is like shocker to them and I can see where that comes from considering that the govt of these people is the same one who came to "liberate" Iraq from Saddam the "brutal dictator."

The average American needs to put the bible away, take a long vacation to western Europe and don't just drink or smoke pot but ask, and investigate how people live and look around for homeless people, or ask about the work benefits they get. Ask them if they get 3 sick days per year from work or maybe 5 days of vacation after one year. Listen to the answers and ask them if they are oppressed and stand in line for tooth brushes. In fact, look around the streets and see if you find telephone poles made of trees with wires wrapped around them which is supposed to provide electricity. The only thing they'll see are street light, one after another and made out of steel. It will not be the end of the world if their car breaks down. No, they don't have to visit "Mr. money" and borrow money just to get to work. They can take buses, trains etc. They can even walk as there are giant sidewalks every where with street lights and regular humans walking around. They don't have to worry about calling their aunt when they lose their job and beg to live in the basement for a few months until life gets better. If they don't work, there benefits, and other social programs. There are things which they have never seen in America nor learned from the pastor.

It will take a a vacation to learn these things and then let them come back and try to sit in front of that couch and watch FOX news again. Or let them come back and try to go back to church and give his 10% to the pastor. They would tell that pastor and the news anchor to "fuck off" and tell that pastor he needs to find another business to scam people for their money. I see Americans as victims and I believe that it is Christianity(at least the kind practices here) which causes them to be this way. It takes brainwashing from birth, going to church and then the education system. It is set up that way to make them stupid, yet proud, poor, yet arrogant on top of all. They may not know it, but the Cuban has it better than the American with all the Burger Kings, Starbucks, Hilton etc. The Cuban can expect to live longer, get an education to pursue the career he wanted to and receive services from some of the best doctors in the entire world.
