Some Iraqi churches tone down holiday festivities over threats.

´´Some churches in Iraq plan to tone down holiday celebrations following violence targeting Christians in recent weeks.

Church leaders made the decision recently after a meeting in Iraq's Kurdish north, said Archbishop Louis Sako, the head of the Chaldean Church in Kirkuk.

There will be no Christmas Eve mass, no Santa or decorations at some churches during Christmas or the New Year, Sako said. Some churches will continue with Christmas Day mass as usual.

Cancellations don't include the relatively safe Kurdish region in northern Iraq.

Authorities said they will increase security around churches in Kirkuk. In Mosul, residents said celebrations have been canceled.´´

...how can this be? Where is Aprim and the rest of the assholes who assured us that this unjust and illegal war against an Iraq that never did a thing to America would be a golden opportunityfor Iraqi Christians? What happened? This time not only the British were present but the Americans too...plus at least thrity other Christian nations...arguably ALL the Chrtistian force and might on earth...and you mean to tell me that Aprim was WRONG? Not even all these Christians with all their weapons and soldiers could protect assyrians, let alone get them any territory besides a grave?

...or was the plan all along to get as many Christians killed and forced out so that Aprim could cry about PERSECUTION? The only tactic they have...'' feel sorry for us''!

...gee...you mean Muslims are MAD at Christians and their fucking holiday...celebrating the birth of the man in whose name these Christian nations have murdered countless Muslim men women and children...you mean Christians are being PERSECUTED in Iraq...while Iraq and its Muslims are being LIBERATED by Christians and taught the value of DEMOCRACY and LIBERTY??? Have Muslims no GRATITUDE????

...the really funny and sad thing is that our Aprims are still giving advice...they´re still telling us what to do....what will WORK! Have they no shame? hint: it´s a rhetorical question.
