...maybe what was at issue way back when was exploitation of the masses and a push for more equity, even control by the masses...but so what? The real problem we face is that what we like to call Life, is killing our planet, the animals on it and soon enough us too. What difference does it make if a capitalist is tearing down forests and poisoning the air or a Marxist combine run by the workers is doing it?

...we've gotten ourselves on this mad merry-go-round where we have to keep chewing up the planet's resources making mostly useless junk for us to buy, so we can make more junk to stock the shelves, so we can buy some more and on and on....it's nuts...and it doesn't matter if a Capitalist or a Marxist or Fascist or a Socialist is doing it...the end result is the same...what difference would it have made if you were traveling first class on the Titanic...or 3rd? You'd drown anyway.
