California is set to pass a law that schoolbooks can't weigh more than a certain amount. Seems in order to justify price increases, of as much as 212%, Book publishers have been cramming textbooks with stuffing, breaking little Johny's back as well as busting his balls...well that's what education is dontcha know...how much you can stuff into the poor birds without popping their eyeballs.

We're going to be witnessing the increasing breakdown of our simplest notions and institutions as this single minded determination to make money, more money, and at all costs, drives us to distraction...just before we turn the corner to insanity, which we can stave off only by spending and getting more money, and of course buying the drugs to "ease our pain"...which will cost us even MORE money....

Follow the money.
