So, essentially, US ambassadors, coming from a wealthy background to begin with, serve only to further the political agenda of the party that the current US President is from. US ambassadors do not have the interest of the people of the US in mind or anyone else. US ambassadors are not true diplomats - they are not concerned with achieving peaceful ends to negotiations between nations... unless it proves fruitful to them or whoever it is that they feel obligated to act in the name of.
