: So, essentially, US ambassadors, coming from a wealthy background to begin with, serve only to further the political agenda of the party that the current US President is from. US ambassadors do not have the interest of the people of the US in mind or anyone else.
xxx By "anyone else" I meant "other peoples' in general."
: US ambassadors are not true diplomats - they are not concerned with achieving peaceful ends to negotiations between nations... unless it proves fruitful to them or whoever it is that they feel obligated to act in the name of.
xxx I mean that US ambassadors are only concerned w/ achieving the ends that they want to achieve - their minds focused on corporate, political party, personal allegiance, &/or military ends desired. This implies that they are not necessarily peacemakers, in a global sense. Therefore, it should come as no surprise, therefore, when a US ambassador does not have a humane character.
xxx I don't know which is worse in this position - an idiot or a manipulative "expert" w/ a Machiavellian agenda - & it seems that these sorts of people are the only people being nominated for these positions. Why do the people of the US have no *direct* say in this matter?...
