: It's not as if we're waging "peace" in the sense that the pro-peace protesters are trying to reconcile differences on both sides of an argument, the U.S. gov't & allies vs. the Iraqi people. The people of Iraq are not trying to settle a dispute with the U.S. gov't. & in fact, Saddam & his supporters don't seem to be really making much of a fuss, either, except to show indignation occassionally.

: The pro-peace protesters are trying to wage peace *within this country* for the most part, because the people of this country are not *at peace* with themselves or anyone else, thanks to Bush & his cohorts. So all of the pro-peace movement's efforts are not really for the "good" of the people of Iraq, though a lot of them don't want to be associated with a one-sided attack from the U.S. military & some of the protesters are genuinely caring people. Basically, that movement is for the "good" of U.S. citizens. We're trying to save ourselves, really.

+++ And now what - except of "assyrian incoherent, inflated words" ?

+++ That's your only & real contribution to the world situation ?
