Sorry if this topic's already been raised before (I don't get time much to ready everything), but I was wondering when the World Bank and the IMF were going to move in and 'help' Iraq. God(s) be with the Iraqi people if and when these parasites offer their 'assistance'. The destruction of Iraq at their hands will make the bombings of the last few weeks look like fireworks on the fourth of July. No amount of revenue raised by oil sales will be enough to get out of the bottomless pit of debt the country will be hurled into and the conditions upon which this money will be lent to Iraq will mean that changes to domestic social security and welfare policies will mean that the people who need help the most at this time of need will be the ones who are going to suffer the most.
BTW, can anyone mention ONE nation that has EVER benefitted from World Bank or IMF help? I can't think of any.
