A Global "Catch 22"

In other words, the majority of Iraqis might support both the intervention and the occupation, that, in itself, does not justify the administration's policies and decisions. Making a judgment for or against this or any other administration, however, is purely a waste of time though, because a much larger problem is looming on the world's horizon. This problem is a global "Catch 22." Never before have all of the nations of the world been as vulnerable to mass death and destruction as they are today. Regardless of your moral position or your secular humanist position or your religious position, the fact remains that no matter how pacifist we are, the world's teeming billions have a breaking point. If we do not wrest control away from the military-industrial complex very soon, the inevitable spark will ignite the entire world in a conflagration that no one on this earth will be able to stop. Therein lies our dilemma.
