Being the expert on all things religious, I was wondering if you ever had a class or part of a class on the Genesis Creation story? I remember my father said once that the name Adam is not actually a name - it's a mistranslation of a word that meant originally "individual." & he says that the same is true for Eve, which originally meant "life-bearer" or "life-giver" or perhaps, "soul." Anyway, have you ever heard of this, Stella?

I was thinking about this - how it alters the creation story a bit - makes it more of an allegory of life - an "individual" who is created of the earth by God with a "soul" as a companion.

Another (funny) thing that someone pointed out to me: that Talmud & Taliban both come from the same root word & mean essentially the same thing.
