: Jeff...oh Jeff...
: Hello?!?! Did you forget the conversation you, Stella and I had on IM? My dad teaches at WMU so yes, I am from Kalamazoo.
******* Sorry! I have a terrible memory. You will learn that after speaking with me again, and then after that I will ask you questions that I should know the answers to....but don't because of the memory.
: And thank you for disrespecting where I am from :) Its not the greatest place in the world, but hey, that's where I am from...I've learned to appreciate the slow-paced life eversince I've moved to California...
*********** You know, you can make fun of "West Bloomfield", or "West Bloomington" as Fred likes to call it...all you want. I don't like it one bit. There are too many damn snobs around here.
: Aladdin's Palace is not that great but the people in Kzoo don't know any better. I took my mom there and she hated it. The rice is like uncle Ben's...horrible. I'd rather eat at home. There is a place downtown called Cafe Istanbul or something....its run by a kurdish guy..pretty good food.
: I didn't know your brothers went to WMU. I've tried finding Assyrian/Chadlean students there but I haven't had much luck..Probably cause I've asked the Arab guys that my friend hangs out with. I know there was one or two there at least. I'm sure that there have been plenty that have gone to WMU.
**** Interestingly enough, when I went up for my brother's graduation party, and there was a half-Chaldean there who was completely blond haired.... and my other brother knew a Chaldean "drummer" who was going to Western...there are a few here and there.
I've never actually been to Alladin's, and after your description of it, I'm glad!
