I was just kidding a bit about that *huge* crush. But it was funny, I think - my friends laughed at me, since I liked to believe I was asexual.
Anyway, sorry you had to miss out on the hiking!
I'm reading this article from the 30 May 2002 issue of Nature titled, "Understanding and exploiting C-H bond activation." I actually printed it out a few weeks ago as a sort of thing I could read to gauge how much I still remembered from chemistry... plus, I have a friend here who's taking some chemistries this summer, & she's expecting me to help her out. But, it sounds like the article addresses something along the lines of what you might do in lab? Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, it's interesting.
I don't miss chem lab, that's for sure, though. Those classes with the premeds - they were vicious! They'd do anything for an "A," everything short of murder. Sheesh - & they're future doctors...
So, wait, I've been meaning to ask you about this - I remember you saying you'd think about doing something else when you're done w/ your current program - become a lawyer or business woman? Why?
