Your letter is a chilling, sad reminder of why our people are in this situation.
In America, I would guess that every single one of "us" spends around $20 a day on food alone. Going out to lunch, or dinner... it's probably the same in Canada.
We throw money around on the most useless things... like nice cars and casinos... but when it comes to a good cause... when it comes to something that really MATTERS...then "oh, the economy is slow" and... "I don't have much extra money right now."
It's sickening.
Thank you for being so dedicated.... you and those people in Northern Iraq are the only ones left.
