It's true that immense wealth is created by America's War Industry...but I don't think the money benefits the workers so much. It is a job to be sure...but the obscene profits don't filter down very far. You could just as easily get about the same pay to teach school...if we valued that.

It's the corporate boys who make the big bucks...bucks they couldn't make to quite the same degree they can in War...because War chews up product like crazy and there's always a need for more and more weapons and they all cost more and more...with no end in sight...that's the beauty of it.

We get about the same we would for any kind of work...and it's sporadic..."seasonal" if you will...ups and downs with here and there a "Peace Scare" to shake the markets.

We also wind up paying the enormous collateral costs...you name them...we pay them...not the bloodmerchants. This War Industry only benefits a few...and they could give a shit for America...except as a mascot.
