xxx Yes, that hit my mind when he was responding to the question. However, the idea that every action that we commit w/o questioning as a society is giving allowing our gov't to strengthen its corrupt agenda is an interesting one. This implicates everyone, Fred, & in doing so, would force our society to *think* more about the agenda of our gov't. I think that's what he was trying to get at. We are being told what to do, & b/c so many people do not question it, this statement would make them feel responsible. We have lost social consciousness, esp. at the global level, here in the States. We desperately need to get it back. It is not OK for us to continue to be complicit w/ our gov'ts actions, excusing it as the action of a few individuals who have nothing to do w/ us, the individuals who give regularly to charity only when we can afford to do it & when we feel like it.
