I don't mean hordes of "us". Just a few people who seek to first of all
define these terms everyone is bandying about...before we can have any
kind of meaningful dialogue.
Just what is an "Assyrian" anyway? That alone isn't an easy thing to
define. You can be a National Idiot Question about it and define
Assyrian as YOU...if you want to...but the people who do that sort of
thing have their own asylum...this is ours.
What is the "proper" religion for Assyrians?
Where do Chaldeans fit in...and what about all these YoYos and Melamine
People....
What difference does language make? Americans speak English, not
"American"...can Assyrians be Assyrians if they only speak Italian?
What value is there in being "saved"? Saved for what? Do people have to
have a purpose in life or is eating well and craping better enough?
There is a purpose in being American or Spanish or a Flounder (people
from Flanders)...is there any useful purpose to be served in being
Assyrian? Are we just window dressing...a tinsel and glitter decoration
no one wants to display any longer?
